Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Snaptic AI – Antique Identifier ("Snaptic AI," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, subscribing to, or using Snaptic AI, you agree to these Terms.

1. Snaptic AI

Snaptic AI is an AI-powered antique identification and research application designed to help users identify and learn more about antiques, vintage objects, collectibles, and other items from photographs.

The Service may provide:

• Antique identification from pictures

• Possible maker, origin, style, and period information

• Visible mark and characteristic analysis

• Historical information

• Similar or matching online listings

• Marketplace price comparisons

• Estimated value information

• AI-powered antique analysis and answers

Results are generated using artificial intelligence, automated analysis, search technologies, third-party data, and publicly available marketplace information.

2. Free Scans

Eligible users may receive 3 complimentary scans before a paid membership is required for continued access to premium scanning features.

A scan may be considered used once an image is submitted for analysis and processing begins, even if the object cannot be conclusively identified.

Complimentary scans:

• Have no monetary value

• Cannot be transferred or exchanged

• Do not normally reset after use

• May be limited per user, device, Apple account, or other reasonable anti-abuse mechanism

We reserve the right to prevent abuse or manipulation of complimentary usage.

The number of complimentary scans or availability of free access may change for future users or promotional offers. The offer displayed within the app at the time of use will apply.

3. Premium Membership

After the complimentary scans have been used, continued access to certain features may require a paid subscription.

Available subscription plans, billing periods, prices, introductory offers, and included features are displayed in the app before purchase.

Prices may vary depending on your country, currency, taxes, App Store territory, or promotional offers.

4. Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off in accordance with Apple's applicable subscription rules before the end of the current subscription period.

Your account will be charged for renewal according to the subscription price and billing period displayed by Apple.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple account's subscription settings.

Deleting Snaptic AI from your device does not cancel your subscription.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription through your Apple account's subscription settings.

Cancellation prevents future renewals. Unless otherwise required by applicable law or Apple's policies, you may continue using subscription features until the end of your current paid subscription period.

Payments made through the App Store are processed by Apple. Refund requests for App Store purchases are therefore handled according to Apple's applicable refund policies and procedures.

Snaptic AI does not independently control Apple's refund decisions.

6. Restore Purchases

Where applicable, Snaptic AI provides the ability to restore eligible purchases using the Apple account associated with the original purchase.

7. AI-Generated Information

Snaptic AI uses artificial intelligence and automated technologies.

AI-generated identifications, descriptions, analyses, historical information, and other results may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or incorrect.

Results are provided for informational and research purposes and should not be considered guaranteed statements regarding an object's identity, authenticity, origin, maker, age, material, condition, rarity, provenance, or value.

Important information should be independently verified.

8. Antique Appraisal and Value Disclaimer

Snaptic AI provides automated estimates and research assistance. It is not a certified professional appraisal service, auction house, authentication laboratory, or substitute for a qualified antique appraiser.

Any estimated values, price ranges, comparable items, or marketplace prices displayed by Snaptic AI are provided for general informational purposes only.

An object's actual value may differ substantially depending on factors including:

• Authenticity

• Condition

• Provenance

• Rarity

• Maker

• Materials

• Age

• Restoration or alterations

• Documentation

• Geographic market

• Buyer demand

• Auction conditions

• Market changes

For insurance, estate, tax, legal, authentication, investment, or high-value transaction purposes, you should consult an appropriately qualified professional.

9. No Guarantee of Authenticity

Snaptic AI does not guarantee that an identified item is authentic.

Counterfeits, replicas, reproductions, altered objects, restored pieces, and visually similar items can be difficult or impossible to distinguish accurately from photographs alone.

Identification through Snaptic AI does not constitute a certificate or guarantee of authenticity.

10. Prices and Marketplace Information

Snaptic AI may find and display information about similar or matching items available through third-party marketplaces, websites, search services, or other sources.

Displayed prices may represent asking prices rather than actual completed sale prices.

The presence of a listing at a particular price does not mean that an item has sold, will sell, or is worth that amount.

Marketplace information may be incomplete, incorrect, unavailable, or outdated.

Snaptic AI does not guarantee any purchase price, selling price, market value, or future value.

11. Third-Party Listings and Transactions

Snaptic AI may provide links to third-party marketplaces, sellers, websites, or services.

We do not control and are not responsible for third-party:

• Sellers or buyers

• Listings

• Products

• Pricing

• Availability

• Authenticity claims

• Product descriptions

• Shipping

• Payments

• Refunds

• Transactions

Displaying or linking to a third-party listing does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee by Snaptic AI.

You are responsible for evaluating any third-party seller, listing, product, or transaction before buying or selling an item.

12. User Content

You may submit photographs, questions, descriptions, and other content to Snaptic AI.

You retain ownership of content that you own.

By submitting content, you grant us the limited rights necessary to process, transmit, analyze, and use that content to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service, subject to our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit any content you provide.

You must not upload content that is illegal or infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.

13. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Abuse or misuse Snaptic AI

• Circumvent subscription restrictions

• Manipulate or exploit complimentary scans

• Attempt unauthorized access to our systems

• Interfere with the operation or security of the Service

• Use automated methods to abuse the Service

• Upload unlawful or infringing content

• Use Snaptic AI for fraudulent or deceptive purposes

• Reverse engineer the Service where prohibited by applicable law

• Violate applicable laws or regulations

We may restrict or terminate access in cases of fraud, abuse, security threats, or serious or repeated violations of these Terms.

14. Intellectual Property

Snaptic AI and its original software, interface, branding, designs, graphics, text, and other proprietary materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Third-party trademarks, product names, marketplace names, images, listings, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Their appearance within Snaptic AI does not imply affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement.

15. Service Availability

We strive to provide a reliable Service but cannot guarantee that Snaptic AI will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Some features depend upon third-party AI providers, search services, marketplaces, APIs, internet connectivity, infrastructure providers, and Apple services.

Features or results may therefore occasionally be unavailable, delayed, incomplete, or changed.

16. Changes to the Service

We may add, modify, improve, replace, or discontinue features as Snaptic AI evolves.

Subscription plans and prices may also change subject to applicable laws and Apple's requirements.

Changes affecting existing Apple subscriptions will be handled in accordance with Apple's applicable subscription requirements.

17. No Warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Snaptic AI is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee that:

• Every antique or object can be identified

• An identification will always be accurate

• AI-generated information will always be correct

• Estimated values will be accurate

• Marketplace matches represent the exact same object

• Marketplace information will remain current

• Historical information will be complete

• The Service will always be available

Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Snaptic AI and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages resulting from your use of or reliance upon the Service.

This includes, where legally permitted, losses resulting from:

• Incorrect identification

• Incorrect estimated value

• Authentication decisions

• Purchasing or selling decisions

• Reliance on AI-generated information

• Reliance on marketplace listings

• Third-party transactions

• Lost profits or opportunities

• Service interruptions

You remain responsible for decisions you make based on information provided by Snaptic AI.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

19. Privacy

Your use of Snaptic AI is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Please review the Privacy Policy for information about how data and submitted images may be processed.

20. Termination

You may stop using Snaptic AI at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary because of fraud, abuse, security threats, legal requirements, or serious or repeated violations of these Terms.

Termination does not automatically entitle you to a refund except where required by applicable law or Apple's applicable policies.

21. Apple App Store

If you download Snaptic AI through Apple's App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and the developer of Snaptic AI, not Apple.

Apple is not responsible for providing or supporting Snaptic AI except to the extent required under Apple's applicable terms or applicable law.

Your use of Snaptic AI must also comply with applicable Apple App Store terms.

23. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Snaptic AI, our business, applicable laws, or our services.

When updated, the "Last Updated" date above will be changed.

Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent for material changes.
